Committees

Supports policy-driven bird conservation efforts through promoting local, state, and federal programs and legislation that protect birds and their habitats.

Coordinates and promotes Cape Fear Audubon events, programs, and initiatives through online and in-person outreach to engage the public and build capacity for bird conservation.

Support, sponsor, or lead activities that protect or enhance habitat, or that fill conservation-related knowledge gaps to serve the greater mission of Cape Fear Audubon.

Provides educational programs and materials to educate the community about birds and environmental issues to inspire future generations of conservationists.

Seeks to identify and address organizational and societal barriers that inhibit diverse representation in our conservation initiatives to begin our work toward a more inclusive Audubon.

Manages and maintains membership information to keep organizational information accurate and up-to-date, and secures funding to help us fulfill our mission.
