Cape Fear Audubon strives to promote and inspire bird conservation efforts at the regional, state, and national level through community engagement to make coastal North Carolina a better place for birds, wildlife, and people.

OUR GOALS
As an official chapter of the National Audubon Society, Cape Fear Audubon seeks to fulfill its mission through advocating for environmentally-focused legislation at all levels, providing educational and recreational opportunities to engage our community, and supporting science-based conservation solutions.

Protect critical wildlife habitats

Use our voices to support birds and the places they need at the local, state, and national level

Monitor bird migration with our MOTUS tower
Improve or create wildlife habitat through our Nature at Home program

Host and promote inclusive educational programs and bird outings for all
Share the love of birds through our bird outings and monthly programs
